A Colorful Condominium.

In moving from a house to a condominium, a colorful environment was created filled with favorite antiques, vintage collections and new pieces.

To downsize with ease, the clients turned to Geneane Francour at Peabody’s for help. The biggest challenge was to harmonize their collections into a smaller environment. When it came to décor, Geneane created a look of informal elegance that’s in tune with the place and the couple’s lifestyle. Brightening the wall color in the living room sets the stage for collections of art and vintage pottery, anchored by a cherished rug. The dining space is transformed with contemporary art, accessories and light fixtures and a stylish iron étagère. Fresh walls and backsplash, updated bar stools, pendant lights and a console conceived to display treasured canisters and spice jars complete the vision for the kitchen. The comforting welcome of the family room was achieved with new chairs, area rug, lamps and a cocktail table complementing a favorite sofa. In the master bedroom upholstery transforms seating. A drop-leaf table displays antique stoneware. Bold wallpaper ties everything together.
